We would like to announce that our greatest concern and our primary interest is the health and well-being of your child. In light of recent events we have taken in a lot of thought and special consideration regarding the recent events of the COVID-19 virus. The board has heavily weighed many different options as all events and concerns remain very fluid and fragile at this time. We would like to assure everyone that we will be adopting new practices and formalities in assistance to reducing the possible transmission of any communicable infections.
Following the determination of the upcoming city council meeting we will announce a follow-up of changes to the previous schedule of games and practices.
For the health and safety of the children and our community. We ask that if you or anyone in household, or your family has come in contact with, has experienced any cold or flu like symptoms we ask that you do not attend any events
We will adopt and follow Texas Teen-age Association recommended game play practice called “no-contact, no-handshake policy”. Announcement of the practice is to follow at a later date.
There will be no “community drinking water” in, or near, the dugout during scheduled events.
We strongly request that there is no sharing of equipment, such as catching gear and other gear, during scheduled events and that the equipment is properly sanitized per CDC recommendation.
All equipment shall be sanitized with sanitizing solution.
Again, for the sake of children and community we ask that if you are feeling ill, have fever, suffering from any cold or flu like symptoms that you refrain from any events.
